Getting ready for Independence Day - We put out the flag
(Hi mama!)
And pose for a family photo
Then I get to check stuff out
And dad and I take turns
Dad gives me the business about flags are too look at and wave - NOT eat
And then he helps me wave the flag
It's sooo HOT!
I get to go do a classic summer time activity - the water park!
Customized for me - right in my tub :)

Then on Moday
We went to IHOP for breakfast.
I have rice cereal and get to have some sweet potato puffs
(melts in your mouth - not in your hands)
Mom and dad had funnel cake
Then off to the new city park...Where did it go?
There it is!

The off to the playground for awhile...
I get to sit in the big kid swing
Then dad sets me up in a little kid swing

I think I'm getting the hang of it...where's the dashboard of this vehicle?
I want to swing with mom
Then off to the slide
On your mark...get set...GO!

Oops! Lost a shoe
Dad and I are dare-devils extraordinaire
Mom says - it's hot - let's go play in the water some-more
BBQ for the 4th is a tradition.

I get to have a lick of dad's watermelon!
First bite - not sure about the texture...
But then - OH YA!
How about a bite or 2 instead of just a lick?

So I had more than 1 bite - can you blame me?

Then later that night - Dad woke me up to see the fireworks
(lots of neighbors got together to do at the bottom of our driveway)
so I sat on the front porch under an umbrella and jumped and wiggled - it was a blast!
